Gwyn, I think the profiles of these two instructors kind of demonstrates the path. Are you a yoga instructor yet? If so, do you have a dedicated clientele? Those two factors lead to finding space to host your classes. That space can be whatever you like, wherever you like.
The details of creating a business plan, leasing space, hiring people - all those particulars can be learned through various govt. agencies.
-- Contributed by: TK2I have had a lifelong dream of opening a yoga wellness studio..... I see my dream, my vision manifesting around me for other people as they open similar types of business. I think, "Oh my gosh, my dream was not so far fetched and could still very much be a reality". How do I make this happen?? What steps do I take to begin the journey....
From the heart,
Gwyn

As far as earning a decent income, there are so many factors that affect that - the style, years of experience, dedication to the art, the classes you teach, your location, your intention - that it's hard to give you an absolute.
If our profiled instructors don't provide an answer for you, also try the Yoga Alliance as a resource for those answers. http://yogaalliance.org/ Good luck!
