After my second child, I got tired of yoga videos in general! Online or from the store, yoga videos are always the same. For my at home yoga practice, I am all about a site called Guided Yoga. Guided Yoga creates personalized online yoga classes; they are never the same and you can pick your level and time for the class!

Namaste!

Javier, welcome to the site. The best place to start yoga is with a certified instructor at a yoga studio or gym. Depending on where you live, this should be an easy search.

However, if there are not classes near you, try a simple DVD program. Rodney Yee and Patricia Walden's AM/PM Yoga package is a great start. The program is gentle and instructive, featuring some of the foundational Hatha yoga postures.

Another good first-time DVD program is Yoga for Weight Loss with Suzanne Deason, because it features three modifications of each pose for people at every level. The beginner's model, again, works through foundational Hatha yoga poses, but uses props like blocks and straps to ease into certain postures.

Some of the web videos featured on My Yoga Online will give you a better understanding of how poses are performed as you build experience, the site is a wealth of information. Best of luck to you!
