Who Was Krishnamacharya?

Sri T Krishnamacharya is the founding father of modern yoga practice. Many credit his students, which include B.K.S. Inyengar and K. Pattabhi Jois, with introducing yoga to the Western world. Krishnamacharya died in 1989. Read more about him and his yoga discipline here.

Hudson has taught yoga for nearly 30 years and is certified by the Krishnamacharya Healing Yoga Foundation. She designed Gwinnett Yoga Center to incorporate the methods of TKV Desikachar, Krishnamacharya’ son, considered to be the leading educator of yoga today.
